Dr Lukas Kertsch is a research associate in the Forming Processes group. His research focusses on the numerical description of thermo-chemo-mechanical coupling phenomena in metallic microstructures using mean-field models. He is responsible for the investigation of microstructure development in adiabatic shear bands using mean-field models.
